by Philip K. Dick.

It's a good book, but it has a thoroughly misleading title and description. It could more accurately be called "We Can Build a Manic-Depressive Lincoln like you." It's about mental illness, start to finish.

Galactic Pot Healer

by Philip K. Dick

This must be one of the books he wrote to pay for food while extremely high.  Which does not mean that it is not, in its own way, awesome.

The Princess Bride

by Simon Morgenstern (abridged by William Goldman)

It's weird - the book feels like it has a different style from all the movies I've seen with Goldman screenplays, including the Princess Bride.  Even the parts written by Goldman, not Morgenstern.
